Following their blockbuster transfer to Brgy. Ginebra, Stephen Holt and Isaac Go are adjusting to their new team and roles, but each bringing their own unique perspective to the PBA season ahead.

Holt, who as recently named PBA Rookie o the Year for his work with Terrafirma last year, is embracing the changes that come with a new team.

“I feel pretty good. We're practicing and trying to piece everything together,” Holt shared.

“That’s what pre-season is all about, and I’m excited for this new journey.”

But as he navigates a fresh challenge in the PBA, one that begins in the Governors’ Cup for the Gin Kings against Rain or Shine, Holt has his pre-game routine to keep a sense of normalcy.

“I listen to anything hip-hop and R&B related,” he revealed to One Sports as his tried-and true method to be in the zone.

Meanwhile, Isaac Go, is likewise excited about his new season with Brgy. Ginebra, taking pride in suiting up with a new uniform.

This even after expressed his surprise about being traded to the Gin Kings alongside Holt.

Unlike Holt, Go does not rely on a specific music playlist on his routine.

“I have no playlist,” he admitted, adding that he doesn’t even have a ‘last song syndrome’ track.

In place of a a track, Go's pre-game preparation focuses on ensuring he gets a good night’s sleep, relying on prayer, and enjoying some snacks. “Whether it’s pasta or something light just to get the energy going.”
