In a span of three days, Scottie Thompson found himself among the latest names added in the PBA's 50 Greatest Players list. He will also soon become a father of three.
Scottie Thompson’s week turned from "greatest" into something greater.
Thompson revealed that he and wife Jinky are expecting their third child, as announced on the Barangay Ginebra star's Instagram account, Friday, April 4.
“Blessing upon blessing! See you next month baby! The goal is be greatest father of all time,” the two-time Finals MVP penned.
The seven-time PBA champion also bared that his wife is eight months pregnant, with the couple expected to welcome their third child in the last three years.
Back in 2023, the Thompsons had their first-born in Scot Alystair. Jinky gave birth to their second child, Schyler Austin, a year later.

The positive news came two days after the 2021 league MVP was included in the 10 new names added to the PBA’s 50 Greatest Players’ list.
At just 31 years old, Thompson became the youngest member of the prestigious club. He and San Miguel Beermen star big man June Mar Fajardo are the only active players among the ten additions. Jayson Castro of the TNT Tropang 5G is another active player listed in the PBA 40 Greatest.
The do-it-all Thompson and Barangay Ginebra are now bracing to finally capture the title in the season-ending Philippine Cup, after another runner-up finish to the TNT Tropang 5G.
Barangay Ginebra will make their All-Filipino tournament debut against the Terrafirma Dyip on Wednesday, April 23.
