Jordan Heading sat among the throng of fans who trooped to the Ynares Center in Antipolo to witness Game 1 of the PBA Season 49 Governors’ Cup Finals between TNT and Ginebra on Friday, Oct. 27.
Heading had a blast.
“Oh, it was great. Great game, great atmosphere. Really high-level basketball as well, so it’s good to see,” said Heading after the Tropang Giga’s 104-88 win over the Gin Kings that drew exactly 11,021 screaming fans — a record for a PBA match held in the venue.

The Filipino-Australian was picked first overall by Terrafirma during the special round of the PBA Draft three years ago.
But he has yet to suit up in the PBA.
After his stint with San Miguel Alab Pilipinas, Heading went on to play for the Taichung Wagor Suns. He then spent the last couple of years with Nagasaki Velca in the Japan B.League and the West Adelaide Bearcats in Australia.
He is not signed with any team as of this writing.

Asked whether watching the Finals opener had him convinced to play here, Heading said he would love to.
“Oh, we’ll see. Hopefully, I can work something out. I think it’s a great league. I’d really like to play here. We’ll see what happens,” he said.
