6-0 incoming?

The red-hot NorthPort Batang Pier aim to add the win-searching Phoenix Super LPG Fuel Masters to their long list of victims as the two squads going opposite directions collide at 7:30 p.m. to cap the PBA Commissioner’s Cup Tuesday double-header.

NorthPort remains the only undefeated team in the mid-season tournament, sitting atop the standings with a perfect 5-0 slate.

The Batang Pier have emerged as the surprise squad so far, beating the likes of Governors' Cup champions TNT Tropang Giga, Magnolia Hotshots, Blackwater Bossing, NLEX Road Warriors, and Converge FiberXers.

Fresh from a 108-101 victory over the FiberXers, Joshua Munzon led the way with a 30-point outing, building on his PBA Press Corps Player of the Week honors the previous week

If NorthPort manages to win over Phoenix (0-4), the Batang Pier will set a new franchise record for their most consecutive victories.

With Munzon, Arvin Tolentino, Evan Nelle playing solid basketball as of late, NorthPort is heavy favorite to stretch its unbeaten run in what has been a red-hot start to the tournament.
