A few big changes in the Top 24.
Move over, June Mar Fajardo—Japeth Aguilar is the new sheriff in town. At least for now.
Aguilar jumped over both Fajardo and second-placer Scottie Thompson to take the top 1 spot in the PBA All-Star voting. He has received 190,273 votes.
The Barangay Ginebra big man previously ranked third in the list, prior to the second wave of ballots cast by fans from February 1 to 7.
Thompson, meanwhile, remained at the second spot with 186,187 votes, while Fajardo dropped to third with 183,903.
Ginebra's Jamie Malonzo and Magnolia’s Calvin Abueva remained as no. 4 and no. 5 with 174,112 and 172,383 votes, respectively.
Aside from Aguilar, another big jumper in the All-Star voting is Rain or Shine’s Gian Mamuyac.
Mamuyac is now in sixth place with a total of 170,359 votes after not being included in the Top 24 during the initial tally of votes.
