Michelle Cobb shoots her shot with 'corny' message for K-pop star Jungkook

PVL

With the PVL still on a break and the Invitational Conference not starting until June, players are making the most of their sudden surplus of free time.

That includes Akari Chargers star Michelle Cobb. The bubbly setter has been doing various activities lately, especially with her teammates.

On Wednesday, Cobb brought Rachel Jorvina, Jamie Lavitoria, and Gyra Barroga to the Mall of Asia Arena to watch her college team, the De La Salle Lady Spikers, go up against the Adamson Lady Falcons in the UAAP. Cobb said it was Jorvina’s first time watching a live UAAP game.

But the two Akari teammates’ bonding time didn’t stop there. Cobb posted an Instagram Story of her and Jorvina mukbang-ing (is that a word?) a Korean corn-flavored ice cream. Apparently, it’s the exact same brand that K-pop star Jungkook loves. So, like any responsible citizen, Cobb shot her shot and tagged the BTS star on her post, saying "@jungkook, if you're watching this, we love the ice cream too."

Of course, the 24-year-old Cobb just said it in jest. All in good fun. She is a K-pop fan, even showing off her dance moves once in a while, so it wasn’t surprising that she knew that the corn-flavored cold treat they tried is Jungkook’s favorite.

So, can we call this corn on the Cobb?

Corny? Yeah.
