It has been a trying six months or so for the Creamline Cool Smashers’ Alyssa Valdez, whose knee injury back in December sidelined her for the entirety of the PVL All-Filipino Conference. It also put her on the long, hard road to recovery, a challenge The Phenom has faced head-on by putting in the hard work needed to get back to 100 percent.
Now, Valdez is finally healthy and is just a few mental hurdles away from being fully back. And, perhaps fittingly, The Phenom’s return to action might just happen a couple of days before she celebrates her 30th birthday.
But before all that, Valdez slayed in a photo-video shoot for her big 3-0.

Like we said, she slayed. The undisputed GOAT of Philippine volleyball simply looked stunning in every way and in every angle. Then again, what did you expect?

Her peers’ reactions say it all.
“Grabe siyaaaaa hello 30!!!” commented Michele Gumabao.
“Gwapa,” wrote Jovelyn Gonzaga.
“30 na yan?!” asked Ella de Jesus, who like us can’t seem to believe that Valdez is already turning 30.
Bang Pineda, on the other hand, could only comment a 🔥 emoji.
In truth, The Phenom really is 🔥.
