Regine Diego goes green with new project before PVL conference

Regine Diego goes green with new project before PVL conference

Sometimes, you have to do what you have to do, no matter how silly it may seem to others, to recharge and get yourself together. Perhaps the same goes for the world of sports.

The F2 Logistics Cargo Movers just missed out on a podium finish in the PVL Invitational Conference. Some might say it was a regression of sorts, considering the Cargo Movers won a bronze medal in the previous tournament, which was the All-Filipino Conference. With that, one can’t fault F2 coach Regine Diego for engaging in a therapeutic activity, particularly, making a baby avocado plant.

Yep, the feisty volleyball mentor got a little creative and shared her latest masterpiece on Monday evening via her Instagram.

“I made baby avo plant from your avocado! Thanks kay mommy,” the De La Salle Lady Spikers legend posted.

The thank you message was addressed to F2’s strength and conditioning coach Sonny Montalvo.

For what it’s worth, the plant really did look like a baby avocado. The stem with a few sprouting leaves looked like baby hair. The sticks represented the baby limbs, and the avocado itself was, well, the baby avocado’s body. It’s undetermined when exactly did Coach Reg’s plantita era started, but one thing’s clear, it’s alive and well.

As for the game, there’s no doubt that the Cargo Movers are looking to bounce back and prove further that they are now legit title contenders. Diego and her wards will have a chance to do that in the third conference, which is set to be another All-Filipino affair.
