Mich Morente will be trying red.
The Petro Gazz Angels are not done with the PVL offseason, announcing their third acquisition in opposite spiker Mich Morente.
The Angels posted the development on Thursday, as part of their continued revamp for the 2024 campaign.
Last month, Morente expressed her gratitude to coach Rald Ricafort and the High Speed Hitters for her resurgence in the PVL.
Now, she's embracing a new chapter.
"New year, new goals," Morente posted on her Instagram Story.
Petro Gazz earlier signed up middle blockers Ethan Arce and Mary Joy Dacoron from the disbanded F2 Logistics Cargo Movers.
But the Angels, which finished sixth in the PVL Second All-Filipino Conference, will have big shoes to fill following the departure of veteran outside spiker Grethcel Soltones to the Akari Chargers.
Meanwhile, the High Speed Hitters have been hinting at a revamp of their own after parting ways with Morente, along with setter Anj Legacion and outside spiker Mean Mendrez.
