Dindin Santiago-Manabat delivered 25 points, powering the Akari Chargers past the Capital1 Solar Spikers to remain in the Final Four race in the 2024 PVL All-Filipino Conference.
Akari stayed in semifinals contention after dispatching also-ran Capital1, 25-17, 25-14, 25-20, in the 2024 PVL All-Filipino Conference at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig on Thursday, April 11.
Dindin Santiago-Manabat put up 25 points for the Chargers, who hiked their record to 4-5 for 12 points at seventh place.
To keep its flickering semis hope alive, Akari must sweep its last two matches while hoping that Creamline, Cignal and Chery Tiggo would not go over the 18-point mark.

Holding a 2-0 set edge, the Chargers sprinted to a 12-8 lead in the third frame before Ja Lana willed the Solar Spikers back, creating a deadlock at 12.
Santiago-Manabat then nailed a hit that instigated a 7-3 rally for a 19-15 separation. Akari would preserve the lead the rest of the way.
The Solar Spikers suffered their sixth straight loss, sliding to 1-7.
Akari seeks to continue its pursuit of a semis berth when it tries to upend Chery Tiggo on April 20, Saturday
Capital1, on the other hand, tries to get back on the win column when it takes on Nxled on April 23, Tuesday.
Both matches will be held at the same Pasig venue.
