The Petro Gazz Angels came out triumphant anew at the Candon City Arena in Ilocos Sur after silencing the Farm Fresh Foxies on Saturday, Nov. 23.
ILOCOS SUR — Petro Gazz made another successful trip to the North after blanking Farm Fresh, 25-21, 25-17, 25-19, in the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference at the Candon City Arena here on Saturday, Nov. 23.
This marks the Angels’ second win in the city after playing in the same arena during the 2nd All-Filipino Conference in 2023 against Nxled, which also ended up in a sweep.
In the third set, the Foxies managed to keep it close early until Brooke Van Sickle and Myla Pablo created a five-point separation for the Angels, 15-10.
Maicah Larroza and Trisha Tubu tried to will Farm Fresh, but Petro Gazz’s advantage proved to be too much with Aiza Maizo-Pontillas delivering the winning kill.
The Angels thus recovered quickly following a straight-set defeat to Creamline last Saturday at the Ynares Center Antipolo.
Petro Gazz will have a lengthy break before tackling Akari on Dec. 5 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao.
Farm Fresh, meanwhile, will gun for their first win, also against the Chargers, on Nov. 30 at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig.
