The struggling Nxled Chameleons are eager to break their winless streak when they take on the undefeated Creamline Cool Smashers in the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference at the PhilSports Arena on January 28.

The Chameleons have faced a tough road in the tournament, winning only four sets while conceding 21 across their seven matches.

Despite their current record, the Ettore Guidetti-led squad remains optimistic, drawing confidence from the standout performances of Chiara Permentilla, Lucille Almonte, and Lycha Ebon.

The trio combined for 44 points in their last match against Akari, where Nxled started strong by winning the opening set but ultimately fell in four frames.

Despite their record, Permentilla has been the team's go-to scorer, placing fifth among Best Scorers with 122 points.

Determined to turn things around, the Chameleons look to capitalize on their offensive potential and tighten their defensive schemes to challenge the grand slam champions.

Nxled will need to overcome the Cool Smashers' depth and cohesion, which have been instrumental in their unbeaten run so far.
