Coming off a nine-day break, the Galeries Tower Highrisers are ready to seize their second win in the PVL All-Filipino Conference against the Nxled Chameleons.
The Galeries Tower Highrisers will look to end their three-game losing skid on Saturday, February 8, when they battle the Nxled Chameleons in the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig.
The Highrisers are coming off a four-set loss to the Farm Fresh Foxies last January 30, continuing their slow start to the new year.
But facing the winless Chameleons next, Alyssa Eroa and the rest of her squad could finally bag an elusive second victory in the conference.
Eroa, a former Best Libero awardee, is currently second among Best Diggers with 4.37 excellent digs per set.
A win for Galeries Tower would move them to 2-7 and give them the necessary momentum for the final stretch of the preliminary round.
With Julia Coronel orchestrating the team’s offense, the Highrisers will be hoping for a much more stable performance from Ysa Jimenez, France Ronquillo, and Jewel Encarnacion.
The match between Nxled and Galeries Tower will begin at 4:00 p.m.
