Ivy Lacsina knows the Akari Chargers can go even further in the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference after taking down the Galeries Tower Highrisers in Game 1 of the quarterfinals.
Ivy Lacsina and the rest of Akari are nearing their second straight semifinal appearance in the PVL.
The Chargers barged into the penultimate round of the 2024 Reinforced Conference and are now just a win away from repeating that feat as they nipped the Galeries Tower, 21-25, 25-19, 20-25, 25-16, 15-11, in Game 1 of the 2024-25 All-Filipino Conference Last Eight.
Lacsina, however, knows that the work is far from over for her squad, which reached the Finals last conference.

Lacsina tied her career-high of 28 points she built on 22 attacks and six blocks to lead Akari against the Highrisers Saturday, March 15.
The 25-year-old spiker credited her teammates for giving her confidence throughout the match.
“Team effort talaga. 'Wag kang matakot.' Siyempre, doon din nabu-boost ako,” Lacsina said.
Despite an up-and-down conference, the Chargers now find themselves with the opportunity to punch their ticket to the semis in Game 2 on Thursday, March 20, at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig.
