The TNT Tropang Giga moved a step closer to their goal after besting the Ginebra Gin Kings in Game 1 of the PBA Season 49 Commissioner's Cup Finals.
TNT came out with guns blazing, unleashing eight of its 14 treys in the first quarter to build a separation over Ginebra that it never relinquished.
Thus, the Tropang Giga waylaid the Gin Kings, 95-89, in Game 1 to put themselves in pole position in the race-to-four PBA Season 49 Commissioner's Cup Finals.
