Bernadeth Pons fought back tears during the post-game press conference following Creamline's exit from the 2025 AVC Women’s Champions League.

The Cool Smashers fell to Thailand’s Nakhon Ratchasima Qmin C VC in straight sets, 15-25, 22-25, 16-25, in their quarterfinal matchup at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig Thursday, April 24.

Pons was overwhelmed with gratitude after completing her first-ever tour of duty for the Philippines in an international indoor volleyball tournament with her Creamline teammates.

Now, with Creamline’s AVC campaign wrapped up, Pons will shift her focus back to beach volleyball. The last time she played in the beach was back in the 2023 Southeast Asian Games in Cambodia.

Pons and Sisi Rondina will temporarily depart their respective clubs as they begin their preparations for the 2025 Southeast Asian Games.
