It would be nice to see them share the court again.
It was a reunion of sorts for the De La Salle Lady Spikers of old.
The former La Salle stars got together again for EZ Nacino’s first birthday. EZ is the son of former Lady Spiker Melissa Gohing and actor Rocco Nocino.
Among those present were Gohing’s La Salle teammates Cha Cruz-Behag, who recently made a volleyball comeback, Aby Maraño, Paneng Mercado, and the legendary Manila Santos.
Look:
As if it was the UAAP, Maraño even helped Cruz-Behag's son, Sol, by infusing some of her competitive and fierce mentality into the youngster.
More recent La Salle graduates like F2 Logistics Cargo Movers' Kim Fajardo and PVL Invitational Conference Best Middle Blocker Majoy Baron were also in attendance.
Count former collegiate rival Fille Cainglet-Cayetano, too.
This series of Instagram stories on Sunday had fans feeling nostalgic—or old?
While some of them are no longer actively playing, it would be nice to see them share the court and proudly wear the green-and-white jerseys of the Taft-based volleyball program.
