National University bounced back from a four-set loss to De La Salle University by defeating Adamson University in straight sets, 25-19, 25-16, 25-18, on Saturday, April 20 at Philsports Arena.
The win improved NU's record to 10-3, solidifying the Bulldogs' second place standing in the UAAP Season 86 men's volleyball tournament. The Falcons slid to a 9-4 record.
Nico Almendras and Buds Buddin led a strong offensive attack for the Bulldogs, giving them a commanding 19-14 lead in the second set. Leo Aringo finished off the Falcons with the winning spike in the third set.
