Francis Lopez came up big for the UP Fighting Maroons as they keep their record spotless against a gritty UST Growling Tigers, 81-70, in the UAAP Season 87 Men's Basketball Tournament.
Lopez chipped in 15 points, six rebounds, and two assists for UP, who remain on top of the standings with a 6-0 record.
Aside from Lopez, Harold Alarcon also played a crucial role for the Fighting Maroons, tallying 16 points, three rebounds, and three assists.
Lopez and the rest of UP will be tested on Sunday, October 6, as they face the defending champions DLSU Green Archers
