The Adamson Soaring Falcons secured their first win of Round 2 in UAAP Season 87, defeating the UE Red Warriors 45-37 at the Mall of Asia Arena.
The Falcons dominated the fourth quarter with a 10-0 run, while UE struggled offensively, scoring only five points in that period.
Matt Erolon led Adamson with 14 points, 12 of which came in the fourth quarter, and Anthony Fransman contributed significantly with 14 points and nine rebounds.
Adamson's strong defense limited UE to just 37 points, marking a rare occurrence of a team scoring under 40 since Season 82.
This victory improved Adamson's record to 4-7, keeping their Final Four hopes alive, while UE fell to 6-4.
