The La Salle stalwart received the coveted award hours after scoring points in Alas' final straight-set win over Australia.
Canino was not the only Filipina included in the mythical team, as Jia De Guzman also captured the Best Setter of the tournament.

Nguyen Thi Bich Tuyen of eventual champion Vietnam took home the Most Valuable Player award, while her teammate Le Thanh Thuy copped one of the Best Middle Blocker awards, alongside Yakimova Yuliya of Kazakhstan.
Australia captain Caitlin Tipping and Kazakhstan skipper Sana Anarkulova captured the Best Outside Hitters.
Completing the list of awardees is Best Libero Nguyen Khanh Dang of Vietnam.
