The national U-18 team fell prey to the host nation Monday, losing in straight sets in the 22nd Princess Cup SEA U18 Women’s Volleyball Championship.
Alas Pilipinas U-18 absorbed a 25-15, 25-12, 25-11 loss to the Thais, long known as a regional powerhouse in volleyball.
Still, Alas maintains a 2-1 record,
after previous wins against Singapore and Malaysia.
The U-18 will go right back to action against Australia Tuesday, looking for a bounce back win.
