The grind continues for the Gilas Women.

Days after capping off their 42nd William Jones Cup campaign, the Filipina hoopers saw action again, this time in the WMovement 3x3 Elite Invitational on Sunday. WMovement is an initiative for women, by women that hopes to provide a platform for women's talent in hoops.

National team mainstay Afril Bernardino, who donned Lady Macbeth Riots threads, headlined the Gilas players who showed out in the event at the Veacon Hope in Caloocan.

Bernardino played alongside fellow Gilas members Camille Nolasco, Malia Bambrick, Gabi Bade, and Louna Ozar.

Meanwhile, Chack Cabinbin also joined in in on the fun and broke some sweat for the Altama Army.

Gilas went home from Taiwan with a 1-4 record in the Jones Cup. After a 64-60 win over Iran in the opener, the team dropped its next three games including a 95-88 beating at the hands of Japan’s Chanson V-Magic.

But Gilas was simply using the invitational tournament, which is ongoing as of this writing, to prime itself up for the Asian Games in September.
