Gilas Pilipinas near their FIBA Asia Cup 2025 goal after a dominant win over Hong Kong.
Gilas Pilipinas asserted their mastery over Hong Kong, 93-54, to sweep the second window of the FIBA Asia Cup 2025 Qualifiers at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on Sunday, Nov. 24.
The Nationals, who whipped up a 30-point romp, 94-64, over their foes in the first window last February, thus preserved an immaculate 4-0 record in Group B and inched closer to a trip to the continental meet in Saudi Arabia.
Hong Kong, for its part, wrapped up the second window without a single win in four games.

Just three days ago, Gilas Pilipinas scored a historic win over New Zealand, 93-89, before an electric crowd at the same venue.
To secure their ticket to the Asia Cup, the Pinoy dribblers would need the Tall Blacks to prevail over Chinese Taipei in their duel on Monday, Nov. 25, in their home country New Zealand, according to FIBA.
