Wondering why Dwight Ramos was not in action during Gilas Pilipinas’ game against Hong Kong in the second window of FIBA Asia Cup 2025 Qualifiers Sunday?

Apparently, Ramos has been having issues with his left calf since the scintillating 93-89 win over New Zealand last Nov. 21.

According to a report by courtside reporter Bea Escudero, the Levanga Hokkaido star felt tightness in his left calf during the third period of the New Zealand game.

Since there was no progress after getting therapy in the days since, the coaching staff decided to sit Ramos out for precaution.

Ramos finished with 11 points, six rebounds, and four assists in the historic win against the Tall Blacks.
