Thirty-three hours!

After more than a day of traveling, the Philippine men's and women's beach volleyball teams finally arrived in Brazil for their training camp ahead of the Southeast Asian Games.

And needless to say, they were exhausted, as seen from Jovelyn Gonzaga's face in her Instagram story.

Good thing there were layovers.

After finally getting to Rio de Janeiro, the squad was treated to warm meals by their Brazilian coach, Joao Luciano Kioday.

Dij Rodriguez will be plugging in the women's volleyball team, joining familiar faces Sisi Rondina, Jovelyn Gonzaga, and Bernadeth Pons.

Meanwhile, James Buytrago will be the new member of the men's squad, which is composed of Alnakran Abdilla, Jaron Requinton, and Jude Garcia. Both the men's and women's squad will be aiming to improve their bronze medal finishes back in 2021.
