Two-time NBA All-Star Carlos Boozer had a respectable 13-year career in the NBA. After starting out with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Boozer moved on to become a franchise pillar for the Utah Jazz in the mid-2000s.

The 6-foot-9 forward had his best years in Salt Lake City. He made it to the All-NBA Third Team once alongside his two All-Star Game appearances. He remained as a contributor when he joined the Chicago Bulls, before pulling off a final victory lap with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2015.

The best of the Boozer name, however, may have yet to step on the NBA court.

Pundits have long noticed the potential of the young Boozer boys in Cameron and Cayden—because primarily, they are making big impact at a young age. The two 15-year-old sophomores entered high school at the top of player rankings. Cameron came in at no. 1 in the ESPN Class of 2025 rankings released last year, while Cayden was at no. 24.

And in the world stage, Carlos’ sons are also making noise.

In the FIBA U16 Americas Championship, the United States is advancing to the final against Canada after getting significant contributions from the twins throughout the tournament.

The 6-foot-8 Cameron is the team’s best rebounder, hauling in 9.4 boards per game. As a staple in the starting lineup alongside Fil-Am JJ Mandaquit, the taller Boozer has also become the squad’s third-leading scorer with 20.8 points per outing.

Cayden, who plays in the backcourt, is also a lock in the rotation. He’s the second-best assist guy on the team with 3.6 dimes per game, just behind starter Darryn Peterson. The 6-foot-3 guard is also averaging 7 points and over 3 rebounds.

No wonder the older Boozer is present in the games being played in Mexico—any father would feel proud to see his children excel on the hardwood.

At one point, not one, but two NBA fathers were courtside when Boozer’s twins went up against Luis Scola’s son Tomas in the USA-Argentina match during the group phase earlier this week.

On Monday, Team USA, who has won the last seven editions of the U16 Americas, seeks to clinch their eighth title against Team Canada, which is on its fourth appearance in the last dance in the last five years.
