Terrence Romeo shone late as San Miguel scraped past Ginebra, 131-125, in overtime to level their PBA Season 49 Governors’ Cup semifinal joust on Friday, Oct. 11.
Romeo fired 25 points on perfect 5-for-5 shooting from the three-point area while also knocking down his lone attempt from four-point range as the Beermen got on the board in the best-of-seven series.
The spitfire guard scored eight in the extra period, including back-to-back three-pointers that gave San Miguel a 120-117 edge with 2:07 remaining.
Jericho Cruz then sealed it with 3-of-4 shots from the free throw line.
Game 3 is set on Sunday, Oct. 13, in Dasmarinas City in Cavite.
