DeMarcus Cousins’ Asian basketball venture is quite the success.

Cousins is the Finals MVP of the 2024 T1 League season, leading the Taiwan Beer Leopards to the title via a 4-0 sweep of Taipei Taishin Mars Saturday.

The Leopards actually swept through their whole playoff run, beating the Kaohsiung Aquas in the semis, 3-0, before taking down Mars in the finale.

Cousins averaged 25.3 points and 14.8 rebounds in the Finals, including a 24-point, 24-rebound effort in the Game 4 clincher, a 108-80 victory.

The former NBA All-Star initially signed a short-term deal with the Leopards to play in January. Cousins averaged 22 points in his first stint, helping Taiwan Beer to a 3-1 record.

Cousins later re-signed with the team, appearing in three more regular season games in late April before the playoffs.
