It has been almost two years since the iconic jowa reveal of UAAP two-time MVP Bella Belen with Rujin Nippon’s key player, Ran Takahashi, on her Instagram when the 2022 Volleyball Nations League was hosted in the Philippines.

Fast forward to the present; Bella was not able to watch the men’s competition live. Creamline’s captain Alyssa Valdez and Akari Chargers’ Fifi Sharma were already in front of the line of Ran's fans, as they already had their photos taken with Japan’s outside hitter.

Ran is already mutual with Alyssa on Instagram, while Fifi jokingly hard launched him on social media.

Bella, on the other hand, had no interaction with Takahashi, or any of her idols in the VNL.

Not until today, in her Instagram story, USA’s outside hitter Tj Defalco greets him in a video.

“Hello, Mhicaela. Congrats on being MVP,” he said.

“My inspiration for the next season. Only @tjdefalco can call me mikeyla,” Bella wrote.

It seems like Bella was caught in a love triangle between two outside hitters.

Haba ng hair, Mikeyla. Kidding!

All jokes aside, the USA's star has enjoyed their brief visit to the Philippines because of the Filipino fans.

“Thank you to all the fans who came out and supported us this past week! Playing in front of this crowd was a one-of-a kind experience. I look forward to the day we get to play here again in [the] future. Team result wasn’t exactly what we wanted, but the life result was unbelievable. We will be back and stronger,” he wrote.

So, who won the heart of Bella? Ran or Tj?

One thing’s for sure: Bella has the last laugh in the VNL fangirl craze.
