New York Knicks' Jalen Brunson and Indiana Pacers' Tyrese Haliburton met again at the Madison Square Garden, one month removed from their epic clash in the NBA Eastern Conference semifinals that went a full seven games.

But this time, it was inside the ring.

Brunson and Haliburton took their rivalry into the squared circle as the two were featured in an entertaining segment on the latest episode of “WWE SmackDown " on June 29, Saturday (PH time).

Current United States champion and internet personality Logan Paul made his entrance with Haliburton–dressed in a "Tyrese 3:17" shirt and jean shorts, akin to wrestling legend "Stone Cold" Steve Austin's signature getup–for his Money in the Bank qualifying match against LA Knight and Santos Escobar.

That was before Brunson appeared on the screen, much to the delight of the home crowd when Knight was making his way to the match.

During the closing moments of the match, Haliburton went to assist Paul by retrieving the influencer-turned-wrestler’s signature pair of brass knuckles from the crowd, putting it on, and smashing it on the metal steps leading into the ring.

Enter, Brunson.

The Knicks superstar jumped out of the crowd to confront Haliburton as the two got in an intense face-off at ringside before referees interfered, just as the MSG crowd was going wild.

Eventually, Knight reversed a pinfall attempt of Paul to steal the victory and a spot in the multi-man ladder match set on July 7, Sunday (PH time) in Toronto, Canada.

The scuffle didn’t end there as Paul and Haliburton looked to jump Knight with a two-on-one assault, only for Brunson to once again make the save, bringing a steel chair into the ring and forcing Paul and Haliburton to retreat.

The Knicks and Pacers renewed their rivalry in this year’s NBA Playoffs as the two teams engaged in an epic second round series.

Ultimately, Haliburton and the Pacers broke Brunson and New York’s heart with a historic Game 7 win at MSG, advancing to the East Finals before getting swept by eventual champions Boston Celtics.

In that game, Brunson made his exit in the second half with a hand injury after scoring 17 points.

Brunson averaged nearly 30 points and six assists in that series, while Haliburton averaged 21 points, four rebounds and seven dimes in a hard-fought seven-game battle.

Aside from the fun WWE cameo, Brunson's Knicks have been busy this offseason as they acquired Mikal Bridges in a trade with the Brooklyn Nets, reuniting him with three former Villanova teammates in Brunson, Donte DiVincenzo and Josh Hart.
