New season in the B.League and there’s a ton of new teams featuring Filipino Asian Quota Players.

There was a lot of movement in terms of free agency in Japan, and Pinoys were part of many significant transactions.

Leading the list is Kiefer Ravena, who makes his B1 return with the Yokohama B-Corsairs.

After a B2 championship last year with Shiga, Kiefer transferred to Yokohama.

Ravena will be tasked to fill a prominent role with the B-Corsairs, as the team will miss the services of Yuki Kawamura with the former B.League MVP trying to make it in the NBA via the Memphis Grizzlies.

Also seeing action for a team is Kai Sotto, now with the Koshigaya Alphas.

Playing on loan from Hiroshima to Yokohama last year, Kai looks to find a home in Koshigaya. The Alphas are also looking to make a splash as they make their B1 debut this season.

Ray had a fruitful three seasons with the Nagoya Diamond Dolphins and will now aim to help the Evessa to the playoffs.

Meanwhile, Wright joins the Brave Thunders, a perennial contender in transition with the retirement of longtime anchor Nick Fazekas.
