SJ Belangel will make his first KBL All-Star Game appearance after being voted in by fans and players.
SJ Belangel will make his first Korean Basketball League (KBL) All-Star Game appearance come January 19 at the Busan Sajik Gymnasium.
The Filipino guard, who plays for the Daegu KOGAS Pegasus, was selected to play in the event after ranking 14th in voting with 23.49 points, receiving 37,007 fan votes and 31 player votes.
Belangel has been having a solid season so far for Daegu, averaging 13.7 points, 3.1 rebounds, 4.9 assists, and 1.4 steals per game.
KOGAS is currently third in the league with an 11-7 record.

The Ateneo Blue Eagles star will be playing alongside fellow Filipino and reigning KBL Domestic Player MVP Ethan Alvano, who ranked 9th in the voting with 28.06 points, coming from 37,900 fan votes and 49 player votes.
The KBL All-Star Game will feature Ulsan Hyundai Mobis Phoebus head coach Cho Dong-hyun and Seoul SK Knights mentor Jeon Hee-chul as team coaches, following their teams' first and second-place finishes after the second round of eliminations.
Alongside the 20 players selected through fan and player voting, Cho and Jeon will each handpick two additional players to finalize the All-Star rosters.
