In a swerve that was certainly industry-changing, the great John Cena has turned heel, aligning himself with The Rock ahead of WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas.

After winning the men’s Elimination Chamber match Sunday (PHL) in Toronto, Cena is now doing the bidding of his once formidable rival in going after Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes.

This after Rhodes emphatically denied to give his “soul” to The Rock and be his corporate champion.

But as with all things authority-related in WWE, there’s always a Plan B, and Cena made a business decision as he targets a record 17th world title at his final WrestleMania.

Earlier, Cena won the Elimination Chamber by last beating longtime rival CM Punk, turning the tables after Seth Rollins hit a stomp on Punk before exiting the cage.

As it stands, Cody Rhodes vs. John Cena for the Undisputed WWE Championship is set for WrestleMania 41, with Cena being a heel for the first time in his main event career.

In the women’s Elimination Chamber, Bianca Belair last beat Liv Morgan to book her own WrestleMania ticket.

The champion she will face is yet to be determined however, as Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley is set for a title defense against Iyo Sky.

A notable development from the women’s Chamber match was the return of Jade Cargill, who immediately attacked and took out Naomi, presumably for the attack that sidelined Cargill a few months back.
