After earning a first-round bye, Carl Tamayo and the Changwon LG Sakers hope to hit the ground running in the 2025 KBL semifinals against Ulsan Mobis Hyundai Phoebus.
Carl Tamayo is finally getting his KBL playoff moment.
Tamayo and the no. 2 seed Changwon LG Sakers will open their semifinal campaign at home against the third-ranked Ulsan Mobis Hyundai Phoebus on April 24, Thursday (PH time).
Game time is at 6:00 p.m.
After a 15-day break, Changwon returns to play in hopes of racing to an early 1-0 series lead in this best-of-five showdown.
Tamayo is expected to carry over his fiery regular season form into the postseason. The 24-year-old submitted 15.1 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists across 50 games.
Those impressive numbers helped the Gilas Pilipinas cager to earn a Mythical Five selection in just his first season in Korea.
