SCHEDULES AND UPDATES: Philippine Paralympians competing at the Paralympic Games Paris 2024

The Paralympic Games Paris 2024 have ended for the six athletes who represented the Philippines.

What is T52?

This is for wheelchair track athletes. They generate power by using biceps to pull the wheelchair rims up, instead of pushing down.

Para Swimming | Men's 200m Individual Medley - SM7

What is SM7?

This is for swimmers whose movement is affected from a low to moderate level in the arms, trunks, and legs. This includes those with short stature of have absence of limbs.

What is K44?

This is for fighters whose arm coordination and movement are severely limited. They adjust for their uneven upper body balance by changing stance to deliver kicks.

What is S7?

This is for swimmers whose movement is affected from a low to moderate level in the arms, trunks, and legs. This includes those with short stature of have absence of limbs.

Para Swimming | Women's 50m backstroke - S5

What is S5?

This is for swimmers whose coordination is moderately affected and whose movements in the mid-trunk and legs are highly affected. Their challenge is to maintain good body position while in the water.


SEPTEMBER 6 | FRIDAY

What is T52?

What is F54?

These are for field athletes with movement in the mid-trunk and legs which are highly limited. They throw while seated.
