The personnel change is hoped to change the fortunes of the team this season.
Blackwater Bossing will head into the new PBA season with some personnel changes.
Team manager Johnson Martinez confirmed to One Sports on Monday via a text message that Ariel Vanguardia will no longer call the shots for the Bossing.
Blackwater tapped Jeff Cariaso to replace Vanguardia, who led the team for four conferences including in the ongoing Governors’ Cup where they finished dead last with a 1-10 record.
The move is hoped to turn the team’s fortunes around this season.
“Jeff Cariaso will be the new coach,” Martinez said.
Cariaso, who last handled Converge FiberXers for one conference last year before Aldin Ayo took over, will be introduced to the team on April 17 when practice resumes.
