He recently inked a 2-year deal with the Batang Pier.
More than seven months since suffering an ACL injury, it seems Will Navarro is recovering as scheduled.
NorthPort Batang Pier coach Bonnie Tan said the 6-foot-6 forward has been doing well in rehab.
If things go as planned, Navarro could potentially rejoin the team in October in time for the Commissioner’s Cup.
“He’s doing well sa rehab. Dapat 10 months ang minimum rehab niya so hopefully by October wala nang extension, makasama na siya sa season, sa import conference,” Tan told reporters after the team’s 104-100 win over Terrafirma Dyip in the PBA On Tour on Sunday.
Tan added the most recent development was that the former Ateneo Blue Eagle was now allowed to jump.
“Sabi kanina he was allowed to jump na daw, vertical jump,” he said.
Navarro recently agreed on a two-year deal with the Batang Pier, Tan confirmed.
