When he’s not busy with his assistant coaching duties for the Stockton Kings in the NBA G League, Jimmy Alapag spends his time being a supportive dad as much as he can. He’s that type of doting father to his eldest son Ian Maximus who’s very much into baseball.  And he’s the same way with his young hooper Calen Asher.

The Gilas Pilipinas icon also has a daughter named Keona Skye. First and foremost, the 8-year-old is an aspiring professional dancer, judging by her Instagram entries that is.

But like her little bro Calen, Keona is also into basketball. Of course, the man of the house always has her back. On Monday night, Philippine basketball’s Mighty Mouse shared through his IG, a snippet from a mini-camp wherein her princess can be seen nailing down a baseline jumper.

Under duress, courtesy of multiple defenders, she rattled in the J. Her legendary dad was clearly impressed. The expression on his face said it all. He wouldn’t have been able to hide how he felt if he wanted to. At that moment, he was undeniably a proud girl dad.

Fans loved Jimmy for his legendary PBA career. The way he played and how he carried himself was simply next level. Add to that, he became even more revered because of his heroics with Gilas. In the future, another Alapag might start making a mark in the game. It could be Calen, it could Keona, or maybe both. Perhaps Kuya Ian might also join the party, should he decide to switch sports.
