Reigning Reinforced Conference Best Setter Gel Cayuna led Cignal to a dominant 25-16, 25-10, 25-18 victory over Farm Fresh in the 2024 PVL Invitational Conference opener on September 6.
Cayuna showcased her playmaking skills with six points, including three attacks, two aces, and one block, alongside 13 excellent sets. MJ Perez added a team-high 16 points.
Despite a brief challenge from Farm Fresh in the third set, Cignal regained control, sealing the win with a final hit from Ces Molina.
Farm Fresh, now winless, will face EST Cola on September 9, while Cignal battles the same team on September 8.
