Rondae Hollis-Jefferson is back with the TNT Tropang Giga after a solid FIBA World Cup performance as the naturalized player of Jordan. RHJ and the Tropang Giga will be among the favorites to contend for the PBA Commissioner's Cup title after their successful championship run in the previous Governors' Cup.
Hollis-Jefferson, who drew Kobe Bryant comparisons with his offensive explosion in the FIBA World Cup, averaged 23.6 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 4.4 assists in an all-around, head-turner performance. Now he shifts his attention to a second title with the PBA squad.
Without skipping a beat, Rondae has already joined TNT in preparation for the upcoming conference.
In separate social media posts and stories, Tropang Giga members welcomed Hollis-Jefferson back with joy at the Moro Lorenzo Sports Center in Quezon City.
"Welcome back, Kobe. We miss you, bro!" Carl Bryan Cruz said after shaking hands and dabbing RHJ.
Rondae didn't waste any time though as he was seen putting up shots from behind the arc.
TNT and its prized import will start their campaign in the PBA Commissioner's Cup on October 15.
