Basketball is a brotherhood like no other. Just ask Kevin Alas.

The NLEX Road Warriors star has begun treading the road to recovery from his third ACL injury. His fans need not worry as Alas appears to be equipped with the right stuff to complete the journey. His faith is unwavering. He’s been here before. And yes, his support system is rock-solid.

On Instagram, the crafty guard declared how his belief in a higher power helps him stay strong amid the unfortunate setback.

In the comment section, messages of support and encouragement poured, mostly coming from his peers in the PBA and Gilas Pilipinas.

His NLEX teammate Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser, Magnolia Hotshots guard Mark Barroca, and Gilas Pilipinas mainstays Dwight Ramos and June Mar Fajardo showed they have Kevin’s back by sending praying emojis.

Sean Anthony, also Alas' teammate, meanwhile, said: "U got this bro."

PBA and Gilas legend Marc Pingris, who also suffered multiple ACL injuries, had a clear message for the 32-year-old Alas.

“Kaya mo 'yan, kapatid,” he said.

“Get well soon, Kev! Palakas ka,” added Jeff Chan.

San Miguel Beermen star Terrence Romeo, who’s dealing with his own knee issues, also sent his former Letran Squires teammate positive energy.

“Kevs, get well soon,” TR7 posted.

TNT Tropang Giga sniper RR Pogoy, who's missing extended time due to a heart condition, echoed Romeo's message.

"Get well, Kevs," said Pogoy.

Other PBA players who also commented include Poy Erram, Jared Dillinger, Glenn Khobuntin, Gian Mamuyac, Aljon Mariano, and Mike Nieto, just to name a few.
