On-court vision still 100%.
The Barangay Ginebra San Miguel got LA Tenorio back into the fold after making his inspiring return. The team, however, lost another star guard, at least for the time being.
Scottie Thompson will be out of commission for two to three weeks in the PBA Commissioner's Cup due to a swollen knee.
Ginebra fans would have to wait a little bit more for the starry backcourt reunion of Tenorio and Thompson.
Thompson, however, was on hand to witness Tenorio's much-awaited comeback against the Terrafirma Dyip on Sunday. While he couldn't make his hustle moves on the court, he sure made some sweet moves for his pregnant wife during a timeout by dishing out finger hearts.
Jinky Thompson shared it on Instagram Story and wrote: "Pasimple pa."
Clearly, the former PBA MVP's court vision is still on point. Baka magyaya na naman ng biglaang bulalo si misis niyan.
The 30-year-old Thompson sustained the knee injury in their close win over the Blackwater Bossing last November 26. Prior to Sunday's game, he hadn't missed an outing since the 2021 PBA Philippine Cup.
If there's one positive thing about sitting out for several weeks, Thompson could spend more time with his wife and their first child.

His extended absence is a blow for Ginebra, but with Tenorio's return and the solid play of Maverick Ahanmisi, the squad, which improved to 4-1, shouldn't fall off drastically.
Ginebra will next face the surging Phoenix Fuel Masters this Saturday in Batangas.
