Standhardinger leads the PBA Commissioner’s Cup BPC race through the eliminations.
Christian Standhardinger is on track for back-to-back Best Player of the Conference awards.
The Ginebra slotman currently leads the competition, taking over in the BPC race at the end of the Commissioner’s Cup eliminations.
Standhardinger accumulated 38.0 statistical points, built around strong averages of 17.3 points, 9.6 rebounds, 5.3 assists, and 1.2 steals per game. The former no. 1 pick has also been a steady anchor for Brgy. Ginebra, with the champion Gin Kings primed for their title defense as the no. 3 seed.
Trailing Standhardinger are San Miguel’s CJ Perez in second place with 35.2 SPs, NorthPort’s Arvin Tolentino at 35.1 SPs for third, TNT’S Calvin Oftana for fourth with 35.0 SPs, and former MVP Scottie Thompson in the top-5 at 32.5 SPs.
Falling out of the race in reigning MVP June Mar Fajardo, who suffered a mid-conference injury that caused him to miss six weeks of play.
Rounding out the top-10 are Maverick Ahanmisi in the sixth spot, Magnolia Hotshots' Jio Jalalon and Mark Barroca in seventh and eighth places, while Chris Newsome of the Meralco Bolts and Jason Perkins of the Phoenix are in 9th and 10th respectively.
