The last time they did, they were still playing with San Sebastian.
Ian Sangalang has won one too many titles with Magnolia in the PBA, including the rare Grand Slam in 2014 under legendary coach Tim Cone.
But Sangalang is yet to achieve the feat with college teammate and good pal Calvin Abueva in the pro ranks.
The last time they did, they were still playing for San Sebastian in the NCAA in 2009.

Now, Sangalang and Abueva, who form two-thirds of the Stags' then formidable Pinatubo Trio, have the perfect opportunity to pull that off as the Hotshots clash with San Miguel in the best-of-seven PBA Commissioner’s Cup Finals beginning today.
Hoisting another trophy with his fellow Kapampangan, this time in the PBA, would be a great memory to cherish if it would come to fruition.
“Masarap kapag nag-champion kami ni Calvin sa PBA,” he said during the pre-finals press conference yesterday.
“Isang memory sa amin itong hindi namin makalilimutan.”
Abueva, who jumpstarted his PBA career with a title with Alaska in the 2013 Commissioner’s Cup, shared a similar sentiment.
“Sana dito, magawa namin ang kailangan naming gawin,” said Abueva.
Getting in the way, though, are the Beermen’s "Death 15," who looked dangerous as ever with Bennie Boatwright, June Mar Fajardo, and CJ Perez leading the charge.

But as they were in the previous battles they fought together, the two are unfazed.
“Ito ang hinihintay namin, ang makabalik sa finals. Ibibigay namin ang best namin,” said Abueva.
The series opener kicks off at 7:30 p.m. at the Mall of Asia Arena. It will air on RPTV, A2Z, PBA Rush and the Pilipinas Live app.
