The PBA released the official preliminary schedule for the 2024 Philippine Cup, starting on February 28 at the Ynares Center in Antipolo City.
Good news for the Pinoy basketball fans as PBA action resumes later this month.
The country's top basketball league will return to action on February 28 with the Philippine Cup of PBA Season 48. This will take place after the first window of the FIBA Asia Cup Qualifiers, as Gilas Pilipinas will be hosting Chinese Taipei at the Philsports Arena on February 25.
The San Miguel Beermen, who broke the hearts of the Magnolia Chicken Timplados Hotshots with their record-extending 29th title in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup Finals on February 14, will also be set to defend their Philippine Cup championship.
The conference will start at Ynares Center, Antipolo, wit the tussle between the Terrafirma Dyip and the Converge FiberXers at 4:30 p.m., followed by the showdown between the NorthPort Batang Pier and the NLEX Road Warriors at 7:30 p.m.
There will also be out-of-town games for regional fans. The TNT Tropang Giga and the NLEX Road Warriors will be battling in Candon, Ilocos Sur on April 13. Meanwhile, the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters will take on the Magnolia Chicken Timplados Hotshots in Tiaong, Quezon on April 20. The Converge FiberXers will also battle Barangay Ginebra San Miguel in Cagaya de Oro City on April 28.
A fourth out-of-town game could also be expected on March 4.

Meanwhile, the defending champion San Miguel Beermen will begin action on April 10 against the Terrafirma Dyip at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.
