June Mar Fajardo now leads the race for the Best Player of the Conference.
The San Miguel superstar claimed pole position after also averaging 17.3 points, 14.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists for 43.12 statistical points (SPs) and leapfrogged erstwhile leader and NLEX main man Robert Bolick at the end of the PBA Season 48 Philippine Cup semifinals.

From the looks of it, there’s a big chance Fajardo would end up hoisting his 10th BPC plum, as Bolick’s Road Warriors got swept by Meralco in the quarterfinals.
Bolick normed 28.3 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 6.5 assists, but now lags behind Fajardo with 42.08 SPs.
Stephen Holt, who led Terrafirma’s renaissance this conference, is at no. 3 after amassing 40.8 SPs on the strength of 21.08 points, 8.1 rebounds, 6.3 assists, and 2.4 steals.
Fajardo’s teammate CJ Perez (39.18 SPs) and Ginebra’s Standhardinger (39.16) round out the top-5 candidates for the prestigious award.
