In a deeply personal and introspective journey, San Miguel Beermen and Gilas Pilipinas star June Mar Fajardo ticked off a profound item from his bucket list after visiting the grave of Anneliese Michel, also known as Emily Rose.

"Emily Rose" is the fictionalized name used in the 2005 supernatural horror film "The Exorcism of Emily Rose." The movie is loosely based on the true story of Anneliese Michel, a German woman who underwent exorcism rites in the 1970s.

In the film, Emily Rose, portrayed by Jennifer Carpenter, is depicted as a college student who becomes possessed by demonic forces, leading to her tragic death during an attempted exorcism.

Anneliese Michel's life, marked by profound faith and the tragic circumstances of her untimely passing in 1976, has left an indelible mark on global consciousness. Her deeply spiritual journey, intertwined with the complexities of mental health and the controversial nature of her exorcism attempts, continues to resonate with curiosity and compassion.

As Fajardo stands before her resting place, he offered a gesture of deep respect and acknowledgment, placing flowers with reverence.

“Bucket List. To visit Emily Rose/Anneliese Michel’s grave,” he captioned on Instagram.

His visit is not merely a fulfillment of personal curiosity but a heartfelt acknowledgment of Anneliese Michel's enduring impact on cultural discourse.
