PBA standings: Surging San Miguel Beermen take over Group B lead in Governors' Cup

Don’t look now, but here come the mighty San Miguel Beermen.

The flagship SMC franchise have taken over the top spot in Group B of the PBA Season 49 Governors’ Cup, coming on strong just in time for their playoff push.

San Miguel is in the middle of a four-game winning streak, a streak that started with a squeaker over Rain or Shine, and is so far capped by a record-setting win over Ginebra last week.

As it stands, the Beermen have joined rivals TNT and Meralco from the other group as early qualifiers to the Governors’ Cup playoffs.

As for the rest of the field, here are the current PBA Governors’ Cup standings as of September 16.
