Aaron Fuller is nursing a corneal abrasion he sustained in Game 2, but he still saw action for Rain or Shine in Game 3 of its PBA QF vs Magnolia.
Aaron Fuller erased all doubts about his status since sustaining a corneal abrasion in Game 2 as he went on the floor as part of the starting five of Rain or Shine two days later.
Fuller then proceeded to power the Elasto Painters to a 111-106 victory over Magnolia in overtime in Game 3 of their PBA Season 49 Governors' Cup quarterfinal showdown on Sunday, Sept. 29.
He sparked a 7-0 run halfway in the fourth to douse the fightback by the Hotshots and bring Rain or Shine's lead back to double digits, 94-83.
While Magnolia successfully forced the extra period behind a massive four-pointer by Zavier Lucero for a 98-all count, Fuller dropped nine points in the additional five minutes to ensure the Elasto Painters' recovery from an embarrassing 52-point blowout, 69-121, the last time out as the Rain or Shine import exited late in the first quarter after being poked in the eye by Ian Sangalang.
